The BLS course teaches basic life support skills for in the prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on High-Quality CPR.

The course teaches High-Quality CPR for adults, children and infants. Use of an AED and effective ventilations. The importance of teams and the team member during the performance of resuscitation. This course also covers choking for adults and infants.

The AHA’s BLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic life support skills in the setting of prehospital and in-facilty. (THIS COURSE DOES NOT INCLUDE FIRST AID TRAINING).

Full BLS Provider Course takes approximately 2-3 hours to complete and RENEWAL Course approximately 1.5-2 hours, including skills and testing. Upon completion, a BLS e card is provided and valid for 2 years
